Your say
I explain the support, choices and costs so you can decide what works for you. You can ask questions, use an advocate or interpreter, ask for a break or say no.
Young people and families
I involve the young person and check who has authority for each decision. Family involvement matters, and the young person’s understanding and preferences matter too.
Permission that is specific
Agreement to support does not automatically give permission for photographs, marketing or sharing records with everyone. Those choices are discussed separately. You can change your mind about optional permissions.
Choice and safety
We discuss risks and safer ways to do the things that matter to you. Consent does not replace safe support. If someone is in danger or a law requires disclosure, I may need to seek help or share relevant information.
Raise a concern
Tell Alex if you feel pressured or unheard. You can contact the NDIS Commission directly on 1800 035 544. Raising a concern will not lead to retaliation.
Convi is an unregistered NDIS provider. This page summarises the company policy. Ask Alex for a copy or an explanation in a format that works for you.
